flowers etc.) to your specific requirements by arrangement if
required.

throughout the year. North Connel and District Horticultural Society. Garden Club Winter Programme of Talks 2009 – 2010 Campbell Memorial Hall, Benderloch Thursday, 8th October 7.30 p.m. Container Gardening John MacKinnon, Clan Trees Lanscaping will give a talk and demonstration on the plants to use in container gardening, including hanging baskets and window boxes. He will speak about irrigation and maintenance.
Thursday, 12th November 7.30 p.m. Forestry Commission – The Impact of Climate Change Donald McNeil, Planning Manager, Forestry Commission, Scotland will
give a talk on how climate change is affecting the forests and
woodlands of Scotland, and how the Commission will be trying to lessen
the impact of this. He will outline the Commission’s plans for
the future. December – No meeting Thursday, 14th January 2010 7.00 p.m. – note earlier time Social Evening A buffet supper with entertainment in the form of quiz will be provided. Please bring friends and family. There will be a small charge of £3 per person for the evening. Thursday, 11th February 7.30 p.m. Scottish National Heritage – the response to climate change Stephen Austin, Area Officer for Lorn and North Argyll will
talk about how Scottish National Heritage plans to contribute to the
reduction of climate change. He will discuss the role of hydro- and
wind-generated energy. Thursday, 11th March 7.30 p.m. Scottish Beekeepers Association This will be a joint meeting with members of the Oban and District Beekeeping Association. Two of their members will speak on:
